Do you want to become a member of the Trinity Lutheran family? Those joining our congregation attend two sessions between Sunday morning services that give an overview of Lutheran worship practice and history, programs and ministries as well as opportunities to serve. If you would like to participate, please fill out the New Member Form and return to the office.
New members at Trinity come from a variety of backgrounds: some are Lutheran, others come from a Baptist tradition, the Catholic Church or other mainline Protestant denominations. Many of our new members have not belonged to a church before.
If you want to know more about what Lutherans believe, visit the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America website HERE.
New member classes are held several times per year. To find out when the next new member class is forming, please contact the church office.

Worship, Music & Creative Arts
This ministry facilitates aspects of our weekly worship that engage participation - it includes art, drama, readers and ushers preparing the space for communion and decorating the workship space. There are opportunities for everyone to serve.
Anyone can be an usher at Trinity with just a little training. Ushers greet people and hand out the bulletin as they come into worship. ushers receive the offering and bring forward the communion elements. To find out what an usher does, just as one!
Are you comfortable reading the Bible in front of a group of people? If so, please consider becoming one of our lectionary readers. A reader goes to our pulpit to read the Old Testament Lesson, the Psalm of the day and the New Testament Epistle. The reader also helps with the distribution of communion.
Middle school youth serve as acolytes at Trinity. Training provided.
On Sundays when communion is offered two members of the congregation help the pastors and the acolytes serve the communion elements. This requires no special learning or skill, just the ability to follow simple directions.
The Altar Guild prepares the communion elements and makes sure these are placed on the altar before each communion service.
Altar flowers are given by members of the congregation and include dedications. A rose is placed on the altar for the birth of a child.
Are you interested in singing choral music in a worship setting? The Trinity Sanctuary Choir is an opportunity to put your musical talent to work serving the church.
The Sanctuary Choir sings traditional choral arrangements, as well as contemporary material. The ability to read music is not critical and no auditions are required.
The choir meets each Wednesday at 6:30 pm to rehearse (off during Summer months). We sing at the 9:00 am and 11:00 am Sunday worship services on alternate weeks.
Do you see yourself leading our contemporary service by singing or playing in the Praise Band? Do you play acoustic or electric guitar, keyboards, drums or other instruments? If so, please consider joining our Praise Band! We play all types of contemporary Christian music and liturgy in support of the 9:00 am Sunday service.
The Praise Band rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary and is led by Tilford Jackson.
Musical group for contemporary worship
The Technical Group supports our worship services with video and sound engineering. Are you comfortable using a PC? Good with graphics and software? If so, there is a place for you supporting our sanctuary sound system and video projection.
Help is needed to prepare graphics materials each week and during the services to operate the sound board and the projector PC. Training is available!
Property Management is concerned with the care and upkeep of our facility.
The Stewardship Ministry helps plan the Trinity budget and provide awareness of how we can use our time and talents for God's work.
