Jail Ministry

"...I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Matthew 25:36

Why a Jail Ministry?

We are called by Christ to visit those in prison and the need is great. More inmates typpically request to participate in Sunday visitations than there are volunteers to accommodmate them.

Where is the Jail Ministry?

We visit inmates in the County Jail at the Government Center on Victoria Ave. The facility is secure, clean and well-organized. We meet with small groups of inmates in the visitor conference rooms in each cellblock.

What Do We Do There?

We study the Bible, spend time in prayer and hear the spiritual concerns of the inmates.

How Do I Get Involved?

Men and women are encouraged to join the Trinity Jail Ministry. A background check is required and the team meets on a regular basis for training, sharing and support.
