What a meaningful and Spirit-filled weekend we shared! From our annual meeting to the affirmation of baptism (confirmation) of two wonderful students and the election of new congregational leaders, it was a beautiful reminder that we are the Body of Christ—called together, growing together, and sent out in love.
This love isn’t passive—it shows up in ministry, encouragement, and celebration. It makes room for new voices, lifts one another up, and walks with each other through every season.
This weekend, we lived that love:
As we welcomed and affirmed those taking new steps in their faith journeys.
As we elected and prayed over our new council, trusting God to lead through them.
As we reflected on all the ways God is at work in and through this congregation.
To our new council members: thank you for saying “yes” to leading in love. To those who affirmed their baptism: your yes inspires us to remember our own. To our congregation: thank you for being a people marked by grace and care.
Let’s carry this spirit forward, letting it shape every decision and conversation so that all who encounter this community will see Jesus in us. Our mission reminds us of this call: “Embodying True Love and Compassion for All God’s Creation.”

We will joyfully receive new members during worship on Sunday, June 29, at both the 9:00am and 11:00am services. A New Member Orientation (NeMO) Luncheon will follow at 12:15pm in the Fellowship Hall.
TLC is thrilled to host Vacation Bible School from July 14–18, 9:00am to Noon! This fun-filled week is open to kids who are potty-trained preschoolers through those finishing 1st grade. The cost is just $20.
