“God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday is Sunday, September 12, 2021. This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor.

Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

TLC will be participating this weekend in the following ways:

Saturday, September 11 from 9am-12:15pm: TLC Youth are invited to help a disabled woman with some yard work. We will meet at the church at 9am and be back at 12:15pm and head on over to Fosters for lunch. Kids can be picked up at Fosters at 12:45pm. Youth will also be able to earn hours towards the ELCA Youth Gathering Trip!

Sunday, September 12 from 12:30-4:30pm: Join us at The City Center (837 E. Thompson Blvd, Ventura) to help paint, fix a sidewalk made out of pavers, gardening, and other tasks. Bring your family and invite a friend to join you!
